Ms. Howard is a social studies teacher known for teaching AP US History and is currently serving as the Instructional Lead for the department. She is also one of the SELF Program Coordinators, and she has a SELF cohort of her own.
Philosophy
Ms. Howard is known to be a tough grader in APUSH, especially when it comes to writing assignments. Nevertheless, she has a somewhat lenient revision policy that allows students to turn in revision assignments multiple weeks after the grades were first posted. She also genuinely cares about her students, often asking for feedback on specific things she does in her classes. Her technology policy in APUSH is very strict; it is not advised that you scroll on your phone or listen to music with airpods during class.

She graduated from Gunn in 2011 and she was taught by Mr. Johnson and Ms. Merchant during her studies at Gunn.
