TBN, the Titan Broadcast Network, is the student-run broadcast media organization at Gunn. Its material is produced by students in the Broadcast Journalism (Titan Vision) class.
In the 2020-2021 school year, they switched from their full-length morning announcement program to a shortened segment called The G. At some point during the pandemic[dubious - discuss], the program was discontinued, though it restarted as a club in the 2023-2024 school year and as a class in 2024-2025.
Format
Formerly, a typical TBN program would run for 2 to 6 minutes, including an intro theme. The morning announcements were delivered live by student anchors, usually two, or in a short slideshow presentation on certain days. During the COVID-19 pandemic, TBN started airing a short prerecorded announcement program called The G instead of live announcements.
Now, TBN produces short news reports and posts them to its Instagram page.
