Personality

Ms. Durquet is known for being one of the more chill teachers at Gunn. She is always willing to listen to students, and clearly enjoys teaching her classes. She is very forgiving towards students who are late to her class, but absolutely despises cell phone use in class.

Ms. Durquet is also known for her wide variety of "out of pocket" quotes and stories, and is always stressed out about writing grants and communicating with Gunn admin.

She is also very proud of her Basque heritage, and commonly talks about her culture during class. Because of this, she speaks both French and Spanish, and loves to converse with students in those languages.

Idiosyncrasies

Ms. Durquet does all her grading in a paper gradebook and doesn't usually input grades for written assignments in Schoology until the end of the grading period, so while work turned in on Schoology is usually graded within an average time frame, students may not know their overall course grade until the end of the quarter or semester.
