Regarding honorifics: follow teachers' personal preferences. It can be assumed that most female teachers use Ms. and most male teachers use Mr.; however, this doesn't always hold true. For example, some teachers prefer Dr., Mrs. (only [[Mrs. Hall]]?), or another honorific like Coach. Currently the wiki has a common issue of woman teachers being referred to with Mrs. when they prefer Ms. (usually in other articles, not their own article); please correct those whenever noticed. | Regarding honorifics: follow teachers' personal preferences. Please use the teacher infobox. Read the documentation if you are unfamiliar with its usage. If correctly filled out, it will automatically categorize the teacher in the category "All teachers" and whatever department they're in. DO NOT manually add a teacher to the "teacher" category. The following are TENTATIVE guidelines for pages about teachers. There aren't many pages about teachers on the Wiki yet.
In general, try to be factual and don't vent your feelings about teachers on the Wiki. Consider the needs/wants of diverse groups of students and be sure to include both benefits and drawbacks of each teacher. For example, keep in mind students who care deeply about grades, students who are passionate about their classes (but not necessarily about grades), students taking courses purely for graduation credit, students with very little time to do homework, as well as students of varying personality traits and cultural backgrounds.
Also, keep content relevant to other students. Don't use the Wiki to gossip about teachers' personal lives. Specific information should serve a clear purpose to others; don't add extraneous details.
Regarding honorifics: follow teachers' personal preferences. It can be assumed that most female teachers use Ms. and most male teachers use Mr.; however, this doesn't always hold true. For example, some teachers prefer Dr., Mrs. (only Mrs. Hall?), or another honorific like Coach. Currently the wiki has a common issue of woman teachers being referred to with Mrs. when they prefer Ms. (usually in other articles, not their own article); please correct those whenever noticed.
Please use the teacher infobox. Read the documentation if you are unfamiliar with its usage. If correctly filled out, it will automatically categorize the teacher in the category "All teachers" and whatever department they're in. DO NOT manually add a teacher to the "teacher" category. DO manually add a teacher to any other departments they're in besides their main department. DO manually add a teacher to the "former teachers" category if they are a former teacher.
Personality and philosophy
Describe the teacher's personality and educational philosophy. Give examples if relevant. The goal of this section is to give readers an idea for how to treat their teachers.
Policies and idiosyncrasies
Same as above, but for policies and idiosyncrasies. For example, mention phone policies, grading policies, other classroom/housekeeping policies, and recommendation-letter policies.
Other information
Other useful information.
