FlexTime is a period created to not be behind the instructional minute requirements after transitioning to a block schedule with less instructional time per class per week (232 -> 225 minutes). For this to be considered instructional time, students must be required to attend some class during FlexTime, but because they can check in with any teacher, there needs to be a new system, as InfiniteCampus does not support this. Because of this, a new web app, called the FlexTime App, allowed teachers to mark students present with them and reserve appointments.
