The N building is the building where Math and English classes are held. It is known for having a modern, brutalist type of architecture.

Gunn High School, as seen on OpenStreetMap. The N-building is the northernmost building.

The building is one of two two-story buildings on campus, with English classes on the first floor and Math classes on the second. Each floor has both boys' and girls' bathrooms as well as a pair of water fountains equipped with water bottle filling stations.

It is laid out as a ring of classrooms surrounding an open courtyard, enabling each classroom to have windows on two of four sides.

The Senior homecoming float is typically located in this courtyard.

Behind it near the bike racks and close to the exit onto the biking path on the hill, there's a giant storage weathered shipping crate known as "Iron Man" used to store construction materials for theatre.
