Scott Friedland, or Mr. Friedland, is a math teacher at Gunn. He teaches AP Calculus AB and Analysis H.
Personality
Mr. Friedland enjoys putting memes and jokes in his slides. He also calls his students "wombats", and brings treats for his students for AP exams. Before AP exams, he hosts study sessions in the mornings. For these sessions, he brings breakfast food and treats for his students.
These treats are almost always ice cream tacos from his wife's business, Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos.
Idiosyncrasies
Mr. Friedland is much harder on his Analysis students than his Calculus students. Despite this, he is a very good teacher for both classes and prepares them well for college level math and/or AP Calculus BC.
