World Classics H is a single-semester English course taken by juniors and seniors. All juniors must take a default English course and an English elective; World Classics H is one of the default courses, offered in alternate years. Students can choose between the course and the college prep version, World Literature. Every other year, American Classics H and American Literature are offered instead of the World Classics/Literature courses. Seniors have the same choice of English courses, but the yearlong AP Literature and Composition is also open to seniors, so some choose to take that instead.
