Daljeet Gill, known as Mr. Gill, is the teaching librarian at Gunn High School. He teaches SELF in addition to being an occasional substitute.
Personality
Mr. Gill is known on campus for his fun Schoology posts, commonly including new slang. These posts are both informative about school events (i.e Service Day), and share information about library hours, but also are some of the most liked posts in Gunn.
He also has a large sneaker collection, and is known for his hot pink pair of Air Jordans.
To keep up with trends, Mr. Gill has a Google Document with a list of slang and definitions supplied by students. He is also a common name reader at graduation.
Mr. Gill has cited Dr. Beresford as one of his best friends on campus, and commonly pranks him by sending students with his essay, and loudly saying The Simpsons is a bad show. Mr. Gill and Ms. Firenzi also have a longstanding friendly rivalry.
Involvement with Student Activities
In addition to being the school's librarian, Mr. Gill is also known for appearing in SEC's Homecoming and Prom reveal videos. His son has also participated in these videos before.
