Mr. Sheth teaches AP Physics C and Astrophysics. He started teaching at Gunn in 2023-2024[1], and has taught at other Bay Area schools before, but as of this time he is still a bit inexperienced. It is often said that he is not very good at lecturing.
Personality and philosophy
Mr. Sheth is very friendly to students and open to answering their questions, both Physics-related and not. He is also receptive to suggestions, though he is defensive about his grading -- possibly due to the volume of students (particularly first-semester Seniors) in his class who grouse about points[dubious - discuss].
Policies and idiosyncrasies
Students are nominally required to put their phones in assigned phone pockets, but this policy is not much obeyed, except during tests.
