Todd Summers, or Mr. Summers is a band director at Gunn. In addition to this, he also serves as Gunn's VAPA Coordinator. He teaches Freshman Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble.
Personality
Mr. Summers is known to be a fun teacher, and always chooses pretty good selections of pieces for his ensembles. He also loves musical theatre, and has in the past had his classes play medleys from different shows such as Sunday in the Park With George.
The Mr. Summers Face
The Mr. Summers Face is a long cherished and held tradition within the Wind Ensemble white elephant. The object is a frame photograph of Mr. Summers on The Mummy Ride in Universal Studios in 2016. The Face comes with a blurb on the back side, explaining its backstory:

This picture was taken (correct me if I'm wrong) aboard The Mummy Ride in Universal Studios during spring break 2016.
It appears Mr. Summers is enjoying himself on this particular ride, and I know I certainly have enjoyed sharing the picture, worshiping the picture, and making memes out of the picture. Among my friends, we call this face, "The Mr. Summers Face."
