Middle Schools
There are three middle schools: Fletcher, Greene, and Jane Lathrop Stanford (JLS). Fletcher and Greene were formerly named Terman and Jordan respectively, but their names were changed in the 2018 – 2019 school year due to the namesakes' involvement in eugenics. JLS was originally named Wilbur Junior High. It was renamed by the district in 1985 when Terman and Jordan shut down due to declining enrollment and their students moved to Wilbur.
Of the three schools, JLS is the largest. Its graduating students are split between Gunn and Paly, while all Fletcher students go to Gunn and all Greene students go to Paly.
High Schools
The two high schools in the district are Gunn High School and Palo Alto High School. They are rivals.
