Student Executive Council

SEC is the student government of Gunn. They meet in room P-105 and are responsible for hosting school events and activities. Their official website is www.gunnsec.org.

Positions

SEC, like many other student governments, has many positions for students to run for (elected) or apply for (appointed). For a list of who is currently in which position in SEC in the 2020-2021 school year, look here.

List of positions

  • The School Board Representative is elected at the end of the preceding school year and is a student voice in the PAUSD Board of Education.
  • The President is the leader of SEC. There is also a Vice President of SEC.
  • There are class presidents and vice presidents for each class in SEC as well.
