Zero period PE 9 is a class covering the same units as PE 9, though it meets during zero period from 7:55-8:50 four days a week, excluding Monday. Because zero period did not exist during the 2020-2021 school year, this class did not exist either, and students who signed up for it were simply placed in normal PE 9. This was reverted in the 2021-2022 school year.

Course catalog description

This course is the same as 9th Grade PE, but runs four days each week from 7:20-8:20 in the morning instead of during the regular school day. This course is appropriate for students and athletes who are early risers. NOTE: Taking this course DOES NOT allow students to enroll in another class during the school day - all students are limited to 7 classes including PE.
