A student ID is an eight-digit number assigned to every PAUSD student. All student IDs in PAUSD start with 950.

Uses

Before the 2020–2021 school year, student IDs were used to sign in to Flex. Teachers use the [[FlexTime App ]] to mark students as present for Flex, entering student IDs either by typing them in or scanning barcodes on student ID cards, which have the student ID encoded in Code 39.

Student IDs are also used as a username to sign into student services such as the ID Portal.

School-issued emails are of the form FLXXXXX@pausd.us, where F is the student's first initial, L the last initial, and XXXXX the last five digits of the student ID (ie. excluding 950). The emails are listed in a directory in Google Contacts, which can be used to determine the student ID of another student by name.
