According to [[Ms. Laurence]], there is a common misconception about this class that students can almost sleep during Yoga. This is not the case; Yoga is just as hard if not harder than normal PE, and mile runs are still required, per state law. However, students do not actually run the mile. Besides this, the course is still physically rigorous and not much easier than PE 10. Therefore, this course should only be taken by students who are actually interested in Yoga.

Should I take this course?

According to Ms. Laurence, there is a common misconception about this class that students can almost sleep during Yoga.

This being said, mindfulness is also part of the course; this includes meditation, breathing exercises, and other relaxing activities. Yoga is also known to be relaxing and de-stressing. Thus, this would be a good alternative to PE for anyone who would like an opportunity to de-stress during the day.
