Notable events

• The A and B buildings were renovated and reopened to students
• There was a lockdown in November
• Evidence-Based Grading was implemented for a few advanced classes this year
• The fire alarm went off three times in four days in August.
• Construction on the K building science labs commenced
• California Ethnic Studies was approved for next year and Biology and Biology H were merged into a new universal biology course
• Board voted to approve an advanced math course that may contain Multivariable Calculus
• The Main Office was moved
• Mr. Gleason and Mrs. Lewis retired
• Mr. Halter ended his tenure as an English teacher at Gunn
