PAUSD staff are not allowed to interact with students at a personal level. For this reason, students are asked to not attempt to create personal connections to staff on this site, as if they did, staff would lose the ability to edit here.

Appropriate: Keeping personal Facebook accounts closed to students—students should not be “friends” with access to view or post to personal accounts.

Inappropriate: Using personal social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter) to communicate with individual students.

Can staff join?

Because this wiki is student-run, staff will most likely not be allowed to contribute to the same degree as students (per PAUSD's rules, not ours). However, there are still several legitimate reasons for staff to join. For example, while Gunn Wiki aims to remove bullying, school admins may need to step in if necessary. Similarly, teachers may freely modify pages about themselves (excluding obvious vandalism), similar to how students may edit their own pages.
