This course focuses on advanced school-level vocabulary acquisition, composition, reading, and public speaking. The work of the year is focused on effectively and persuasively organizing, supporting, and presenting materials in writing and speech. Should I take this class?

This class should be taken if you are relatively comfortable in your English skills and want to be challenged. Unlike English 9, this class involves in-class essays. This course, to be honest, will be more interesting then English 9 with only a bit of added difficulty and work, so you should take it.
