- Not to be confused with Student ID Card
A student ID is an eight-digit number assigned to every PAUSD student. All student IDs in PAUSD start with 950, although there is at least one known misprinted ID card starting with 940.
Uses
Before the 2020–2021 school year, student IDs were used to sign in to Flex. Teachers use the FlexTime App to mark students as present for Flex, entering student IDs either by typing them in or scanning barcodes on student ID cards, which have the student ID encoded in Code 39.
Student IDs are also used as a username to sign into student services such as the ClassLink. Student IDs are also used to get school-provided meals from the cafeteria, and utilised by SEC to charter clubs.
School-issued emails are of the form FLXXXXX@pausd.us, where F is the student's first initial, L the last initial, and XXXXX the last five digits of the student ID (i.e. excluding 950).
