• Students self-report spending an average of 1-2 hours a week outside of school on this course

• This is an advanced course

Should I take this course?

You should take this course if the level of rigor of Analysis H is simply too high for you. This does not mean that you switch to IAC if you get a B in Analysis H, as Analysis H is supposed to be hard, but if you are getting a C or lower, you should consider switching. Note that IAC tends to fall far behind Analysis and review a lot of material from Trig A or Trig H, so you might feel like the course is too easy if you took Algebra 2 + Trig H before. If you do not want to spend a lot of time studying for math though, IAC might be the right option for you. Note that IAC will only allow you to take AP Calculus AB, so you intend to take AP Calculus BC, you will have to do Analysis H, no matter how much you hate it.
